Meanwhile back in the frozen tundra of Grand Forks, ND, another 15.9" of snow was observed, raising their seasonal snowfall to 40.3". That is only 2.5" below their average annual snowfall. A climatologically normal snowfall for February through April will take them way above normal for the season, and likely above the 59.5" I observed there last year. It was appropriate to label snowfall here with a red line, because that is exactly what happened for two weeks.
